From Apple Picking to Apple Painting

The official first day of Fall this year is September 23, but once the heat of August fades and the air gets crisper, Fall is in the air and on our minds. We start thinking of cool Fall nights, apple pies, and changing leaves. September is a great time to enjoy the outdoors with your child and go apple picking. Apples aren’t just for eating though; they can be used for crafts too.

Using apples you have picked (or purchased at the store), your young child can create an apple painting while enjoying a fun, Fall-inspired sensory experience.
