The Most Magical Place on Earth
Hi! My name is Dana and I love all things Disney! From my very first visit, I fell in love with Disney and each visit since is just as special and magical as the first. My passion for Disney started with my first trip at 4 years old. Since then, I have been to Walt Disney World close to 40 times and even graduated from The Walt Disney World College Program. Let me share with you why Walt Disney World truly is the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Disney has always been a constant in my life. Disney has given me joy and has always been my happy place. Whenever I am feeling down or need inspiration, I listen to Disney music to lift up my mood again. Disney is what inspired me to fully follow my dreams, to believe in myself, and to love who I am. The song “Be True to Your Heart” is what gave me the strength to go to school for what I truly wanted to do, to not be afraid to fall in love, believe in friendships and know that the ones that we love will always be in our hearts (“You’ll Be in My Heart”).
Even after so many visits, I still find the same joy I did as a young kid. When people ask if I am tired of going or say that it is just for kids, the answer is simply NO. I identify myself so much with the meaning of what Disney tries to express, that I cannot imagine my life without it. Plus, now that I have children of my own, I get to enjoy it all over again through their eyes. I am experiencing Disney both as an adult and a child all at the same time.
The excitement that leads up to a Disney trip starts months in advance for me. Starting with listening to Disney music, followed by making early dining reservations, reserving spots in line for favorite rides and picturing what each day will entail. Once the day finally comes to leave for the trip, pure happiness takes over. The first stop is always the Magic Kingdom, where I take a walk "right down the middle of Main Street USA" (by far the best street in America!). Walking down Main Street and seeing Cinderella’s castle again for the first time, always makes my heart jump. All my worries go away and I transform into a younger version of myself where I am at my happiest. No matter what I am going through, seeing that castle makes everything melt away and suddenly my world is filled with magic and wonder, even if it is for only a moment.
Walt Disney World has been providing this excitement for me and other guests for a very long time, even before I made my first visit as a kid. Since that time, Walt Disney World has become the most visited vacation destination in the world. The first park to open was The Magic Kingdom in 1971, followed by Epcot in 1982, Disney Hollywood Studios in 1989 and The Animal Kingdom in 1998. Today, Walt Disney World is comprised of 27 themed resorts, 9 non-Disney resorts, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, several golf courses, a camping resort and many other entertainment spots. In its entirety, it covers nearly 47 square miles.
If you are looking to plan your next family vacation, highly consider the Most Magical Place on Earth as your destination. You will not be disappointed.
