Snow in Love! Winter Rom-Com Books!

Winter is my favorite time of year to cozy up in front of the fireplace with a warm blanket, a mug of hot chocolate and a good winter rom-com book! What is a rom-com book? A rom-com is short for romantic comedy. You guessed it...there are two parts: a light and fluffy central love story and a happily-ever-after with some humor and spice mixed in. There are so many rom-com books. Try reading a few of these this winter. Happy reading!

The Holiday Trap by Roan Parrish

This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens

"Minnie Cooper and Quinn Hamilton have never met, but their mothers gave birth to them at the same hospital just after midnight on New Year's Day. Quinn was given the cash prize for being the first baby born in London in 1990-- and the name Minnie was meant to have, as well. Since then, each of her birthdays has been a disaster. The two meet on a friends' New Year's party on their mutual thirtieth birthday, and the encounter leaves them both wanting more." - from the publisher

One day in December by Josie Silver

"Laurie is pretty sure love at first sight doesn't exist anywhere but the movies. But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man who she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic...and then her bus drives away. Laurie spends a year scanning every bus stop and cafe in London for him. But she doesn't find him. Instead they "reunite" at a Christmas party, when her best friend Sarah giddily introduces her new boyfriend to Laurie. It's Jack, the man from the bus. What follows for Laurie, Sarah, and Jack is ten years of friendship, heartbreak, missed opportunities, roads not taken, and destinies reconsidered. One Day in December is a joyous, heartwarming and immensely moving love story to escape into and a reminder that fate takes inexplicable turns along the route to happiness." - from the publisher

Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory

“Vivian Forest has been out of the country a grand total of one time, so when she gets the chance to tag along on her daughter Maddie's work trip to England to style a royal family member, she can't refuse. She's excited to spend the holidays taking in the magnificent British sights, but what she doesn't expect is to become instantly attracted to a certain Private Secretary and his charming accent and unyielding formality. Malcolm Hudson has been the Queen's Private Secretary for years and has never given a personal, private tour...until now. He is intrigued by Vivian the moment he meets her and finds himself making excuses just to spend time with her. Despite a ticking timer on their holiday romance, they are completely fine with ending their short, steamy fling come New Year's Day...or are they?" - from the publisher

Always, in December by Emily Stone

"A chance encounter during the holiday season brings two people together as quickly as it tears them apart--until fate intervenes again (and again) in this romantic debut novel in the tradition of One Day in December. Every December, Josie posts a letter from her home in London to the parents she lost on Christmas night many years ago. Each year, she writes the same three words: Missing you, always. But this year, her annual trip to the postbox is knocked off course by a bicycle collision with a handsome stranger--a stranger who will change the course of Josie's life. A devastating, romantic, life-affirming love story, Always, in December will stay with readers long after they've finished the last page" - from the publisher
